Jim (JJ) Johnston is the President, CEO, Chief Strategist and Talent/Content Coach at International Media/Management Solutions (JJIMS Inc). JJ is a deeply experienced and successful Media/Management Leader. He has held key Leadership positions at Corus Entertainment (GM Toronto, Vancouver, Ontario East), Standard Communications (National VP Programming, GM/VP MIX 99.9) and Moffat Communications (VP of Programming). JJ has won the ‘Canadian Program Director of the Year’ CMW award nine times in a number of different formats. His stations have won countless ‘Canadian Radio Station of the Year’ awards.

In 1991 JJ was one of Canada’s earliest recipients of the “Forty Under 40’ Top Business Award’.

He has Coached and Mentored many of Canada’s Top Business Executives, Artists and Broadcasters and has several high-profile customers in Canada, the U.S. and Australia.

He also has been a Professor at St. Lawrence College (Management/Leadership) and Loyalist College (Broadcasting).

JJ created and led the team that got County-FM on the air on Oct 15, 2014, one of his and that team’s proudest achievements.
